What is the Steve P. Lovato Memorial Scholarship Fund?
The Community Foundation of Chaves County established the Steve Lovato Memorial Scholarship Fund in 2002.
This permanent endowment fund was established to provide scholarships to deserving individuals pursuing a career as EMT / Paramedics.
The family of Steve Lovato and the Community Foundation of Chaves County handed out two
(2) $750.00 scholarships in memory of local EMT-I Steve Lovato at the 10th Anniversary Golf Tournament in March 2012..
In 2013 the Steve Lovato Memorial Scholarship Fund changed administrators and is not being handled by ENMU-Roswell Foundation.
The current ENMU-Roswell Foundation was formed in 1999 through the merger of the Oilfield Training Center Foundation and the former ENMU-Roswell Foundation. This new, revitalized Foundation was organized exclusively to provide financial and material support for the promotion of education and training at ENMU-Roswell.
